Christmas Comes Early for Morgans

We will be part of a special concert to benefit the Community Services League. This is being held in the newly converted "Sundowners" theater just off I-70 in Oak Grove. Tickets are $6, and get $1 off with a can of food. Also featured will be Ken McWain and several others.

25th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

This October 19th will mark the 25th anniversary of Phil's very first concert. To celebrate, we are inviting everyone to join us for a special concert at First Presbyterian Church, 100 N. Pleasant in Independence, MO. The music and fun starts at 6:30pm.

Chris Filer CD Release Celebration

Our dear friend, Chris Filer, has recorded two new CDs and is launching a solo ministry. Join us September, 19 2008 at The Farm - 28710 S. Hwy 7, Garden City, Missouri. There will be free hot dogs, chips, & drinks from 6:30 to 7:30, then we will do a few songs to open the evening. After that we'll sit back and enjoy a great evening of music. Mark your calendars and be there!!

Our friendship goes back before our ministry began when Phil played piano for a country music show run by Chris and his family. Chris, his wife Kelly, and brother Bill formed "The Filers" and recorded Phil's song "Laughing All The Way To The Bank" on their debut CD. Chris and Kelly were our additional vocalists on our "Gospel Favorites Live" CD. They are all wonderful people and we are so excited to see Chris back on the stage again. By the way, we've heard some tunes from the new CDs and they are EXCELLENT!!!

Live Albums Return Online

Two of Phil & Pam's out-of-print CDs are available once again thanks to online downloads. While selected CDs are available at iTunes, Amazon and a variety of online sources, the Morgan's entire catalog is now available for download from their online store. This includes two projects that have been out-of-print for several years - Gospel Favorites Live and What Matters Most 2000 Live.

Gospel Favorites Live, recorded in 1997, is a collection of favorite hymns including "How Great Thou Art". This was Phil & Pam's second album and the only live CD recorded with a full band instead of tracks.

What Matters Most 2000 Live was never intended to be an album. One of the Morgan's final concerts before their devastating accident was video taped by the church. During the uncertain months when it was unclear if the Morgan's would ever perform again, Phil mastered the audio from this tape and released it as a memorial of their concert ministry.

Order Page Update

The ORDER PAGE at www.PhilandPamMorgan.com/Store has been updated with several new features. To name a few:

• Tour T-shirts and Accompaniment Tracks for the new "You Move Me" album are now available.

• The "Buy 3 Combo" special has been changed to apply to all CDs. Now when you select any combination of three or more CDs, a discount of $10 automatically appears at the checkout.

• There is a new combo special including all Accompaniment CDs at a reduced price (25% off).

• There is also a new Digital MP3 Download page accessed directly from the order page. No need to type in web addresses or go to a different site for downloads.

Two things haven't changed, all credit card info is still secure and the order page is still all on one page instead of a multi-page shopping cart. Customers wanting to pay by check or money order can fill out the page, print and mail it to the address listed at the bottom of the order.

New Shirt Sizes

Phil & Pam have added a new size option for their 2008-09 tour T-Shirts. Now the "God's Street Team" shirts are available in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, all sizes only $15. The shirts are a vibrant blue with the tour logo on the back and a quote from the song "Take A Stand" on the front. When asked about the "God's Street Team" logo, Phil said, "Many popular music groups have street teams-volunteers who help spread the word that the artist is coming to their town. The theme of our new CD and tour is that we all need to spread the good news about Jesus to those around us. We are God's Street Team!"
